The Recovery Process in Brief

We can help you recover from disasters with:

  • Virus Attack Repair,
  • Disk Disaster Recovery
  • Accidental file deletion recovery.

How we try to help you Recover

 1.
Sick PC!
Files deleted by Virus, User accident or other problem.
Symptoms:
-Files suddenly missing
-PC may misbehave or not even start!
A disaster recovery is required - contact CompuSolve at Hillcrest, South Australia first.
DO NOT run any recovery programs. It may contribute to complete data loss.
 2.
DON'T DO ANYTHING to your PC!
Don't let Scandisk "Fix" it and make it worse!
Contact CompuSolve to get help recovering those files, even if the disk seems empty!
3.
When your disk or PC is brought in to CompuSolve, our experts will check it with our special software tools. A charge is made for our time and depends on the level of complexity of your problem and the media involved. From $55-$110 inc GST!
Disaster recovery is neither cheap nor simple. It will take time. Plan to make better backups!
  4.
NO GUARANTEES - but we have had a high level of success in recovering deleted files, depending on the circumstances.
Recovery charges over and above the assessment fee will be based on person hours not machine hours spent. It can be a lengthy process.

5.
We will make sure any virus is gone.
Sometimes the Operating System has to be completely rebuilt.
We can do this if required.
6.
We will then put the deleted files back onto your replacement hard disk or create CDs or DVDs. You will need to do some testing and re-organisation.
CompuSolve will also advise you on a backup method to suit your needs - after all - you need to ensure that it does not happen again!
